Best Burgers in Denmark

Scored 0 to 10 across 11 criteria, with Consistency weighted double. The list sorts itself.

32 spots ranked PRIME GRADE
How they’re ranked

Every burger is scored from 0 to 10 on eleven things, and the list sorts itself by the result. It is a weighted average: Consistency counts double, because a burger you can only catch on a good day is a rumor, not a ranking. Anything tried only once skips Consistency and is judged on the other ten. No single bad bun sinks a great patty, and no amount of sauce saves a sad one.

1
Patty flavor
Beefy, seasoned, juicy. Not a sad brown disk of obligation.
2
Patty texture
Good crust, tender middle. Smash-crisp or thick-sear, never a rubber puck.
3
Cheese melt
It should melt into the patty. Cold cheese slapped on top is a crime scene.
4
Bun quality
Soft but strong enough to survive. Toasted helps. A bun that disintegrates is edible packaging failure.
5
Burger ratio
Meat, cheese, bun, sauce, toppings all balanced. No lettuce sandwich wearing a beef hat.
6
Sauce / condiments
Moisture and flavor without turning it into soup. Bonus for a distinct house sauce.
7
Toppings
Fresh, crisp, purposeful. Pickles cut richness. Onions add bite. Tomato is not a wet apology.
8
Juiciness
Moist but not leaking like it has unresolved personal issues. Juicy, not structurally unstable.
9
Construction / eatability
Can you eat it without a shower, a fork, and legal representation?
10
Overall craveability
The real test: would you want another one later, or did you merely survive it?
11
Consistency counts ×2
Same great burger every visit, not a coin flip. A place that's only good when the right cook is on is a rumor, not a ranking. Skip it if you've only been there once.

    Dandelion Burger

    Go-to · "The Burger"
    Copenhagen · map
"The Burger" is the best, with aged cheddar and 25% bone marrow. It's the richest burger in Denmark and cooked to perfection on a BUKA bun. Remove the vegetable relish and add extra cheddar for my order. Unfortunately, consistency is not high. And, if you ask for a substitution, like the above, it feels like they purposely don't deliver.

    7.2
Fresh, crisp, purposeful. Pickles cut richness. Onions add bite. Tomato is not a wet apology.
    Juiciness
    6.8
Moist but not leaking like it has unresolved personal issues. Juicy, not structurally unstable.
    Construction / eatability
    7.6
Can you eat it without a shower, a fork, and legal representation?
    Overall craveability

The real test: would you want another one later, or did you merely survive it?

Same great burger every visit, not a coin flip. A place that's only good when the right cook is on is a rumor, not a ranking. Skip it if you've only been there once.

    It's a burger... if you're hungry for a burger...
    Score breakdown
    Patty flavor
    5.9
Beefy, seasoned, juicy. Not a sad brown disk of obligation.
    Patty texture
    5.9
Good crust, tender middle. Smash-crisp or thick-sear, never a rubber puck.
    Cheese melt
    5.9
It should melt into the patty. Cold cheese slapped on top is a crime scene.
    Bun quality
    6.2
Soft but strong enough to survive. Toasted helps. A bun that disintegrates is edible packaging failure.
    Burger ratio
    7.4
Meat, cheese, bun, sauce, toppings all balanced. No lettuce sandwich wearing a beef hat.
    Sauce / condiments
    6.1
Moisture and flavor without turning it into soup. Bonus for a distinct house sauce.

Fast food burger. Nothing special. Their chicken burgers are better than their beef.
